Where is the return inlet on a pool usually found?

My mom bought this thing called a kokido water fountain thing, and the directions say to unscrew the eyeball ring of the return inlet. There are many things i could unscrew on my pool n im afraid ill mess something up hahaha xD i have no experiance with pools im just a teen girl hahahaha plz help :)
